The Marrow Adiposity & Bone Laboratory (MABLab ULR4490), affiliated with the University of Lille (ULille), the University of Littoral Côte d’Opale (ULCO) and Lille University Hospital, is a cutting-edge research unit dedicated to exploring the intricate relationship between bone tissue and marrow adiposity. At MABLab, multidisciplinary teams of clinicians and biologists collaborate across two sites in Boulogne-sur-Mer and Lille to address a central question: Could the fat within our bones hold the key to understanding and treating bone diseases?

The laboratory hypothesizes that the interplay between bone tissue and medullary adiposity plays a pivotal role in the pathogenesis of bone diseases.
